Preflighting and PDF standardization systems
Theworkflow for the preprint of digital files sent by a client is converted from a format produced by Adobe InDesign or QuarkXpress to a format which the RIP (Raster Image Processor) can interpret. Nevertheless, before this process, the CEGE normalization team reviews and confirms that these files are ready to be sent to the RIP, and then continue the print process.
This process is important in order to avoid delays in the deadlines of production and delivery of the printed advertising materials, and the errors contained in them.
The workflow in CEGE makes the checking process be especially quick, and check amongst other things: images and graphics, corrupt and incompatiblefonts, format and color profiles, resolution, layout corrections of a document in size, margins, indentation, and color separation among many other elements.
